Capacity Training Ground
This isn't a test. There's no score to chase, no level to reach, no point where you're "done." It's a mirror, and a practice. It shows you where you actually operate, not where you'd like to, and gives you a space to work on the gap.
You don't have a single capacity level. You have a capacity profile that shifts by domain. The meditator who's great at C1 self-awareness still outgroups politically without noticing. The systems thinker at work drops to C0 when their kid is threatened.
Every conflict you can identify, every war, every culture war, every "I hate that country / that party / that group", is C0 running at scale. Millions of people simultaneously operating from the instinct that says "they're not us." The more time each person spends operating with intention instead, the higher the probability becomes of seeing the human species as one thing with a shared fate.
Nobody gets this right 100% of the time. The goal is to spend more time there, and to come back when you don't.
Sometimes C0 is exactly right. Play, sport, love, dance: operating from instinct there gives you dopamine and serotonin. It's knowing when you should and when you shouldn't. That's the skill. And it's trainable.
